Barbara earned her Bachelor of Science in Management from Paul Quinn College and her Master's degree in Business Communication from Dallas Baptist University. Barbara has 10 years of radio broadcasting experience. She worked for KHVN Heaven 97 for 9 years. She has 20 years in Television Broadcasting with DCTV in Dallas. Barbara's dedication and unwavering belief in purposeful living have not gone unnoticed. She has been honored with multiple prestigious awards throughout her career. She received the Total Best Servant Leadership Award from Dallas Baptist University for her outstanding commitment to leadership and service. Additionally, she has been honored with the WOW Awards, The Key of Gospel Music and Ministry Awards, and The State of Arkansas Legend Gospel Music Historic Award. Barbara Mitchell is an original member of the award-winning group God’s Property received numerous awards such as Grammy, NAACP, and Soul Train Music Awards, and sold over 3 million record copies. These awards accolades serve as a testament to Mitchell's unwavering dedication to excellence and her remarkable contributions to the world of broadcasting.
